The argument sounds rock-solid, doesn't it? You'll make more money if you promote more than one program.
It certainly sounds right, and there are a number of advantages. The more sites you promote...
- The greater your chance of matching the right prospect with the right program
- The more likely you are to find a program that works for you
- Once you've found one that works for you, it's easier to find others
- You end up doing more advertising, so you get better at it
Yes, it really can mean more money. But there's more to it than first meets the eye. Like most things in life, it won't work if you don't do it right. Here's why...
The downside
The more sites you promote, the more advertising you'll have to do. That's both a positive, and a negative.
Advertising is a skill, so the more you do it, the better you get. But advertising also costs money. The more sites you have to promote, the more money it will cost (unless you take the advice I give at the end of this article).
The more advertising you do, the harder it is to keep track of everything. If you're extremely well organized, this may not be a problem. If you're like most people, it will be a problem.
The more you spend on advertising, the more important it is to keep track of everything (unless you take the advice I give at the end of this article). You need to know which ads are working, and which aren't. You also need to know which ad sites are delivering genuine visitors, and which aren't.
Without this crucial information, you'll quickly run out of money and enthusiasm. Of course, there is a solution to this problem. I'll get to it soon.
Split focus
The other problem that crops up as soon as you decide to promote more than one program, is a split focus. Instead of promoting one program well, you risk promoting two programs half as well. This can mean you end up making less money than you would, had you stayed focused on a single program.
Fortunately, there's a way to avoid this problem too. It all comes down to finding a more efficient way to advertise.
Get organized the easy way
Picture yourself in the position of someone who had to promote more than one program. Perhaps you already have several programs you actively promote. Or you'd like to be in this position.
Wouldn't it be fantastic if there was a way to promote every single one of your programs, using only a single ad? It would certainly be a lot cheaper, and you'd find it much easier to keep track of everything.
It's possible to do exactly that, by listing all your sites on a single webpage. Then you need only promote a single page, instead of each individual program.
But this won't work properly if your central page can't keep track of the ads people are clicking on, and the ones they're avoiding. Your central page should also make it easy to add new programs whenever you want, and remove old ones (temporarily and/or permanently).
It should shuffle the programs, so all your sites have an equal number of exposures in the top spots on the page. If it doesn't do this, you'll find a disproportionate number of people visiting the first couple of programs, and ignoring those lower down the page.
You may prefer it this way, but take it from me, it's far from ideal if you're out to benefit from multiple income streams. Why? Because you can't know in advance, which of your programs will pay the most. An incorrect assumption can end up costing you thousands!
What if you're not a programmer?
The trouble most of us run into, when we consider an idea like this, is that we can't create all the functions necessary. Maybe you can code HTML, but don't know how to connect your page to a back-end database. Maybe you can upload content to a website, but have no experience in creating the back-end administration systems necessary to run this type of program efficiently.
If you already know how to code HTML, connect forms to a back-end database, and write SQL queries, then you don't need this program.
If you don't know how to do some of these tasks, and you like the idea of promoting all your sites with a single page, you need this...
Promote all your sites
There is a way to get everything I've described in this article, without having to know anything about creating webpages, hosting content on the Internet, or database integration.
It's a tool designed specifically to make it easy to promote more than one program at a time. It allows you to concentrate on advertising a single webpage, instead of each individual program you belong to.
It means you really can take advantage of the magic of multiple income streams, without having to suffer any of the downside.
It's called Promote All Your Sites (P.A.Y.S. for short), and you'll get everything you need to know by clicking here.
