Understanding the Spirit World
To describe the spirit world would seem an impossible task for a mortal. After all, it doesn’t seem to be of earthly origins and is such a mystical place, seemingly full of ghosts, angels and spirits. This strange place, as if a world of dreams, also seems responsible for all the unexplainable phenomena and miracles which occur. It is a place without substance and, we’re told, where God surely dwells....

The Sixth Sense... a psychological misfit
It is commonly believed we have a sixth sense, not just the five that are so apparent, that of sight, smell, taste, feeling and hearing. It seems to be true even though the sixth sense is quite different than the others, more mysterious and metaphysical in nature. Generally the sixth sense is known for the ability to sense danger but sometimes it is associated with one’s ‘gut-instinct’ when trying to choose the right course of action. The ability to sense danger is uncanny, that is, to sense something beyond the capacity of the other five senses....

The Sensing Capabilities of the Spiritual Soul
Since I’ve already addressed the spirit world and metaphysics, this article will be more focused. It would probably be helpful, but not necessary, if you read those and my other phenomena articles first for a little background. However to address the spiritual soul, one can’t get overly specific so I'm limited to how focused I can be. After all, this is metaphysical phenomena we're talking about. It boils down to languages lacking the necessary descriptive terms (semantics) for metaphysics. In other words, something must first be described in a way everyone can relate to. Semantics can also lead us astray which the ancient mystics often complained about. They once posed… “Do languages assist or create understanding?” Something to ponder...

Economic injustices... the greatest threat to world stability
There are countless issues worthy of attention today, across the board, from one corner of the globe to the next. For civilization, to achieve and then maintain justice, security and order, all would be important of course, and within these, some issues seem to stand out as critical, begging priority. Overall human rights and equal rights would top the list, then you would have the world economy and down the list would be globalization concerns such as sovereignty, jurisdictional matters and associated trade issues. Since I’m already addressing human rights, equal rights and globalization in my webpage Battle Stations, it seems appropriate the world economy should be dealt with next.

Power lust...like a bull in a pasture, its sexual roots
Since recorded history the lust for power has caused more death and destruction on this planet than for any other reason. It may be responsible for as much as 95% of it. This resulted in more than 40 million people killed and inconceivable amounts of collateral damage. Countries have been virtually decimated from wars, their cities left smoldering in total ruin and countless millions more were affected in terrible ways, the loss of loved ones, being wounded or crippled for life, many were left homeless and starving, others raped, tortured and imprisoned... all this to sate the desires of few dozen men....

Biocontrol Agents for Organic Farming… the terminology
If you haven’t been keeping up on the latest developments in biocontrols… wait a minute, what are biocontrols? Oh, shoot, you know, ‘environmental friendly’ products which aren’t agricultural chemicals that are used for controlling crop pests. If you haven’t, then this article may surprise you. During the past 15 years, the latest in biotechnology, along with ancient pest-control methods, now provide a respectable arsenal of weapons in, well, you know, ‘biocontrols’.
